outside the USA unless you are willing to pay for Express Service.
Priority mail is not trackable and the post office will no longer process claims
for undelivered packages.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
We ship 98% of our orders within 1 - 2
days! It is our goal to ship
orders within 1-2 days of receiving them...when we receive proper shipping
address and phone number. Delays may occur when paid by an "echeck" that
must clear through pay pal, we have to obtain phone
numbers for shipping or if we are out of town at a show. If there will be
a delay, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Shipping charges are calculated
upon checkout.
We ship most orders by FedEx
or UPS Ground so we must have a physical address & telephone number.
Smaller orders (approx 3 lbs and
under) will ship out by USPS. If you prefer to have a package shipped USPS
or you do not get get postal service delivery at your physical address please
contact us before placing your order online.
Shipping on Nedra's books and patterns
The price for Nedra's books and
patterns includes shipping by media mail uninsured insurance within the USA.
When the patterns/books are ordered by themselves.
If included with other items they are shipped by other methods which include
insurance.
If you are just ordering
books/patterns we recommend you add the optional insurance should your order get
lost or damaged in the mail. We cannot be responsible for loss or damage
unless you pay for the optional insurance. Delivery can take up to 9
business days (excluding holidays) to reach you by media mail.
If you wish to have your order
shipped by priority mail insured we have included an option below Nedra's books
for you to add priority shipping with insurance to your shopping cart. The
books and patterns should reach you within 3-5 days when shipped by priority
mail and you will be protected if they are lost or damaged.
Due to the fact that the post
office assumes no liability for loss of shipments outside the USA we no will no
longer ship books outside the USA. I apologize for the inconvenience but
you can find international sources on
our links page.
Expedited shipping services
If you need expedited shipping services please let us know what you want to
order and we will let you know the cost for shipping and we can bill your order
directly through pay pal

We do not give your information
away or use it for any purpose other than contacting you in case of problems
with your order and for shipping purposes. FedEx and UPS requires phone numbers
for all orders shipped so they can contact you if there is a problem delivering
your order.
Shipping Addresses and Incorrect Addresses
Please be sure that your
address is correct when placing your order. If the address is
incorrect and it is due to you providing the wrong address there will be a
$11.00 charge incurred by FedEx & UPS which will be passed on to you.
Pay Pal policy is that
sellers must ship to the address on the orders we receive. If you
have a Pay Pal account please be sure the address and phone numbers are
correct before placing your order. If you have moved and have an old
address in your account please be sure you updated it before placing your
order and to avoid future problems be sure to remove your old address and
phone number from the pay pal account.
Phone Numbers
I respect your
privacy
and I assure you that any personal information we receive is kept
confidential. I do not share any information you provide us and I
want you to have trust in protecting your privacy. It is, however,
crucial for us to have your phone number in case I or the carrier need to
reach you regarding your order. I do not use this to solicit or
share the information with anyone other than the shipping carrier.
Shipping charges
PRICE INCREASES: FedEx, UPS and the Postal Service
have announced price increases effective January, 2010. The post office is not raising
the price on stamps but packages such as parcel post, first class, priority and
media mail will all go up effective January 1, 2010.
Our shipping charges are
calculated using a chart just like mail order catalogs. It is calculated
automatically as you shop and caps at certain amount just like most catalogs.
We try to ship all
orders out within 24. If we are at a show, we can usually ship most orders
within a few days. If there will be a delay in shipping we will let you
know. Woodburners
and most orders are
shipped FedEx or UPS Ground, please ensure you provide a physical address and phone
number.
Smaller orders under 3 lbs (such as pens) are shipped via USPS.
The shipping and handling charges
may sound high but in many cases we actually loose money on shipping and
handling which include processing fees we are charged, insurance, packing
material (boxes, filler, tape, etc). We try to keep charges as low as
possible but we must try to meet our expenditures for shipping whenever
possible.
NOTICE REGARDING ADDRESS CORRECTIONS AND
UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES:
EFFECTIVE 1/14/10 - INCORRECT
ADDRESSES or ADDRESS CORRECTIONS
Please be sure your address is
correct when you place an order online. Effective 1/14/09, FedEx and UPS
started
charging $10.00 for address corrections. This will increase on 1/14/10 to
$11.00. If we receive a bill for this fee
from FedEx or UPS and it was due to customer error it will be passed on to you via an invoice. If you paid through
pay pal an invoice will be sent to you through pay pal. If the invoice is
unpaid we will enter a dispute through pay pal and we will not process any
future orders from you until the charge is paid.
If an order is returned to us as
undeliverable we will contact you regarding the correct address. If the
error was ours we will reship the order at our expense. If the address on
the order was incorrect then we will not be responsible for return shipment
cost. If the customer wishes to have the order reshipped it will be at the
customer's expense. Any charges we incur because the customer has provided
an incorrect address or failed to update their pay pal account with a current
address will be billed back to the customer.
To avoid additional shipping
charges please ensure your address is correct when placing the order.

EXCESS SHIPPING CHARGES ON SMALL
ITEMS
Unfortunately I cannot
customize the shipping, handling and insurance charges to accommodate small, lightweight items
such as woodburning pens, cords, etc.
In the past I have been
doing manual invoices for people but it has become very time consuming on
both ends so I am asking you to go ahead and order online. Once I
process the order and shipping I will refund any excess charges
through pay pal.
